Celise Dent, she/her
BSc, RD

Celise Dent, BSc, RD is a Registered Dietitian with the College of Dietitian's of British Columbia. I am a Registered Dietitian with a Bachelors of Science degree in Food Nutrition and Health from the University of British Columbia.

I am fiercely passionate about helping people achieve their health and wellness goals in a sustainable and compassionate way. My focus is to remove all the stress while we ditch the food rules and help people improve their relationship with food and physical activity.

I full heartedly believe that nourishing our body can be a joyful and stress free experience for everyone if we can learn to eat mindfully.

Currently I work as a clinical dietitian at BC Women’s and Children’s Hospital, working primarily in eating disorders and gestational diabetes. I have also had the privilege of working with many women during pregnancy to optimize nutrition, increase energy levels, and minimize risk for nutrient deficiencies. This includes pre natal nutrition and breastfeeding support. I also have a keen interest in family-focused nutrition, in-particular introduction to solids for infants and “picky” eating for toddlers and children.

Aside from my training and professional experience, being a mom of two (with one picky eater) has given me much experience on the subject. Further more I have published work on the subject of home tube feeding, more specifically on blenderized tube feeding (aka natural tube feeding). If you or a loved one is dependent on tube feeding for nutrition, I would love to work with and support you to achieve your nutrition goals.

Whether you have a clinical need or simply wanting to build some new habits, I am here for you and look forward to working together towards your wellness goals.
