RSW
I am a Registered Social Worker with a Masters of Social Work from Dalhousie University. I have 10 years of experience working with children, youth and families.
For as long as I can remember I have had an interest in hearing other peoples stories and a desire to work together with individuals to support them on their healing journey. As a Métis Woman, I am passionate about working with Indigenous youth and families. I have professional experience working with Indigenous youth and their families, using CBT and DBT from an Indigenous perspective.
I draw on various therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Lifespan Integration and Motivational Interviewing. My approach is strength-based, client-centred and culturally sensitive.
