Kristina Collins, MSW, RSW

I am a Registered Social Worker with over 12 years experience working with people of all ages. I have a Bachelor of Social Work from UVIC and a Masters of Social Work from UBC. I have always had a passion and desire to help individuals transform difficult experiences into positive change. I believe in working to help you understand how your circumstances and relationships shape you and how this understanding can make for new perspectives.

My experience has allowed me to work with, and help people navigate through a range of concerns, including: individuals struggling with mood disorders (anxiety, depression), grief/loss, chronic pain and illness, family/relationship conflict, life transition and trauma.

Most importantly, I work from a place of kindness and compassion to make room for connection.

I have specific training in trauma therapy Lifespan Integration, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy- Insomnia, Emotional Focused Therapy, Exposure Response Prevention Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Narrative Therapy.
